Helping Hands:
Boots on the Ground for Our Community
Our Helping Hands program is about active volunteering. We’re stepping away from our daily electrical projects to work alongside the families, schools, and charities that keep Mackay moving.
We believe that a small act of kindness can power a community, that’s why we are rolling up our sleeves to help where it's needed most.
Whether it’s the heat of a local sausage sizzle, the heavy lifting of an event setup, or helping an elderly neighbour who can’t keep up with their lawn, we are here to help. From supporting big community fundraisers to helping a local family clear their backyard during a hard time, the NQ Power Up Electrical team is ready to step in.

Charity Fundraisers & Community Markets
Local Events & Sausage Sizzles
Individual Support: Helping neighbours with yard work or heavy lifting.
What Our Team Can Do:
When we show up, we’re ready to work. Our team can assist with:
Event Setup: Pitching tents, moving equipment, and site preparation.
The Front Lines: Cooking or serving food and assisting at stalls.
Technical Support: Setting up temporary lighting or safe power runs.
The Clean-Up: Helping pack down so the organizers can finally take a breath.
